The 2019 edition of the WGI Guard Mid-East Power Regional was a showcase of some of the best programs WGI has to offer including Avon HS, Pride of Cincinnati, Paramount, and a wide spread of innovative, well-designed shows. Here are some highlights from Finals on Sunday, March 24th:

It's going to be an incredible weekend to watch WGI winter guard on FloMarching—in fact, it's going to be THE BEST weekend to watch it before World Champs. So in order to help you navigate the 5 different schedules and venues, I've put together a schedule of all of the best groups going across all 5 venues during Saturday's prelims.

The Mid-East Power Regional will feature a total of 87 units in preliminary competition this Saturday. Between Hamilton High School and Cintas Center, the schedule includes 40 Scholastic A (SA), 7 Independent A (IA), 10 Scholastic Open (SO), 12 Independent Open (IO), 10 Scholastic World (SW), and 8 Independent World (IW) guards. 

Five more massive WGI Power Regionals will be coming LIVE to FloMarching this weekend, March 23-24. ALL five events will be two-day regionals with prelims on Saturday and finals on Sunday.

The 2019 Winter Guard International (WGI) season is upon us. The best indoor percussion groups, winter guards, and indoor winds groups have spent the last 3-4 months going through auditions, call-backs, practices, and multi-day camps with one thing in mind: WGI World Championships—or their local circuits if they're not making the trip to Dayton.
