Latest WGI Guard Rankings: One Month Out From Dayton 2026
View the latest color guard rankings as groups compete in Winter Guard International events across the country as they make their way towards Dayton, Ohio.
We're just over one month away from the 2026 WGI Color Guard World Championships, which serves as a perfect opportunity to see what the current Color Guard rankings are shaping up to be.
Check out the current 2026 Winter Guard International (WGI) Color Guard Rankings for the week of March 3. Rankings will be updated every Tuesday at 12pm ET.
The standings system was developed by the Color Guard Steering Committee to seed color guards competing in the WGI World Championships only. More information on this can be found on Page 114 & 115 of the WGI Color Guard Adjudication Manual and Rulebook.
Please keep in mind that these standings do not include those groups who fall under the WGI 400 Mile rule.

When Are The WGI World Championships In 2026?
The WGI World Championships are split into three categories: Guard, Percussion, and Winds and will take place between Thursday, April 9 through Sunday, April 19.
- Guard World Championships preliminary competition begins on Thursday, April 8 and end with Independent World finals on Saturday, April 11.
- Percussion World Championships preliminary competition begins on Thursday, April 16 and end with Percussion Independent World finals on Saturday, April 18.
- Winds World Championships preliminary competition begins on Saturday, April 18 and end with Winds Independent World finals on Sunday, April 19.
