Noir Independent

Show Title: Through These Rooms

Program Information: "Noir Independent is proud to present their 2026 production…”Through These Rooms.” A deeply human exploration of memory, absence, and the echoes we leave behind.

Set within an aged home, rooms faded, floors worn by time, walls holding secrets, the audience is invited to journey through spaces once filled, now quiet, yet never truly empty. Each performer becomes a memory itself, lingering long after presence has vanished.

Warm, layered costuming in sepia and earth tones reflects the warmth of love, the sting of loss, and the ache of remembering. Movement flows through doorways, across patterned floors, and into emotional landscapes that shift like a mind revisiting moments it cannot let go.

Featuring the musical selection of Cynthia Erivo’s “You’re Not Here,” anchoring the production in raw vulnerability, a reminder of what once was, and what remains.

“Through These Rooms” is a reflection of the spaces we all carry, the rooms in our hearts no one else sees."

Sensational Performance Ensemble

Show Title: Inhale Exhale

Program Information: "Breathing seems so natural, but it's a powerful instrument that influences both our physical and mental well-being. In our new show, Inhale Exhale, we take you on a journey through emotions – all connected by one thing: our breath.

A calm, refreshing breath gives you a feeling of positivity and zest for life. You are in balance, celebrating life, dancing with energy and laughing until you're out of breath. But what if your breath catches? You start breathing more heavily and emotions take over; fear, panic, anger – it becomes difficult to breathe. By consciously focusing on our breathing, we find peace and strength again. Breathing is also healing; with deep and calm breaths, we let go and regain control and balance." (translated from Dutch)

Through intimate moments of reflection, the performers will explore how relationships shape us. And even when someone leaves, we carry them with us as they have changed our lives. This program explores the feeling of looking back while also learning how to move forward. “Echoes of Us” is a reminder that even as chapters close, the echoes of what once was will have an ever lasting impact for the rest of our lives."

To Tell the Tale blends historical charm with the universal quest for self-authorship. Everyone must decide what kind of tale they want to leave behind.
