Show Title: Still, We Reach

Program Information: "The show explores the human instinct to wish, reach, and strive for something greater — not as fantasy, but as an act of hope. Space becomes a metaphor for distance between who we are and who we want to be."

Valhalla Winds

Show Title: One for Sorrow, Two for Joy

Program Information: "One for sorrow, Two for joy / Three for a girl, Four for a boy. / Five for silver, Six for gold, / Seven for a secret never to be told. / Eight for a wish, / Nine for a kiss, / Ten for a bird you must not miss.”

Valhalla Winds 2026 show brings to life a famed nursery rhyme about the majestic magpie, and the gifts they bring in numbers. The Musical selections include “Children’s March: Over the Hills and Far Away” by Percy Grainger, “Halcyon Hearts” by Katahj Coply and “Fields of Gold” by Sting.  With stunning arrangements by Andrew Markworth, the musical journey is one of child-like playfulness, shining nostalgia and powerful maturity. With the combination of Artistic design by Cody Matson and Visual programming by Kendra Wendeln, the ensemble personifies the striking colors, patterns and movements of the magpie and its rhyme."

A gentle cleansing no longer, “Baptism by Fire” shows our ensemble burned by trials of intensity, passion, and transformation. Bear witness to our ensemble perform miracles and be reborn from the ashes of their struggles."

Program Information: "Inspired by Maya Angelou’s iconic poem “Caged Bird,” our 2026 production explores the powerful journey from oppression and confinement to resilience, hope, and liberation. Through striking imagery, movement, and voice, we delve into what it means to feel trapped by circumstance, by society, or by self - and the courage it takes to rise, resist, and reclaim freedom. Like the caged bird that sings despite its chains, this production is a testament to the unbreakable human spirit."
