Compressed Nerves, Sliced Calf Muscles, & Still Going

2 Surgeries and Still Going

While at the Bands of America Grand National Championships, presented by Yamaha, it wasn't unusual for performers to be seen limping onto the field and then being carried off. Knee braces, wraps, and medical bags are a must for any band over the course of a season. And just like any other sport or competition, these amazing performers understand that sometimes you have to push through the pain. For Breanna Motsenbocker of Center Grove High School, she's finally learning what it feels like to marching WITHOUT the pain. But it wasn't an easy path to get back to the field.

We heard about her story earlier this season when a video of the Center Grove drumline playing surfaced. People on the comments section were quick to point out the young lady on the stool and were curious as to why. See the original video here.
