Dan Schack is the Battery Coordinator/Choreographer of Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps and the Creative Director of George Mason University Indoor Drumline. Outside of his musical endeavors, Dan is pursuing a Ph.D. in English at the University of Delaware.

Good evening, everyone and welcome to tonight's live blog of the 2019 DCI World Championship Finals. This is Krista, again, bringing you up to the moment action from tonight's performances. Be sure to refresh often to keep up with the blog!

Every year, the DCI community is treated to so many great shows from top to bottom of placement. Each day fewer corps perform and only the top 12 are able to play in finals competition. While those are scored by the judges as being the best of the best, there are still plenty of great shows that didn't make the cut. Here are a few of the top shows that weren't able to make finals. 

After another long day of performances yesterday, DCI's semifinals have finally come to a close and our top 12 corps are now preparing for their finals performances tonight. Here's a quick recap of yesterday's performances, and what to keep an eye on going into tonight, and some things you may have even missed yesterday. 

With just two days left to the DCI season, everyone's eyes are on finals night and what it might take to get there. But some of the best surprises of the night aren't even the medals; they're the caption awards. Caption awards are actually based on the average recap score category of the three nights combined, so this is just one day's worth of info. Here are the front runners heading into Semi-Finals.
