2017 DCI Rankings
WK 5 - BD, Phantom Rise In Guard
The color guards shined in their first performance inside a dome for 2017 and the scores reflected as such. The Blue Devils were able to move into the #1 rankings position based on a strong week. Phantom Regiment's guard were the big movers of the week jumping up 5 spots to #4. Again, the pace of scoring is high in color guard just like the other captions. The Cavaliers had an impressive night in San Antonio and won the guard caption with an 18.2. By comparison, the 2016 guard caption winner was Carolina Crown with a 17.4.
