It's been such an exciting start to the season in Southern California! From Oceanside, to Pasadena and then San Bernardino, this weekend has been a great return to a competitive drum corps season.

After starting off with a bang, week one of West Coast DCI action comes to a close with Western Corps Connection on June 26th. Many corps we've seen throughout the three-day SoCal stint will be packing up and heading out across the US to begin their 2022 tour, but fans can look forward to competition coming back to the Golden State throughout July. Here are some focal points and questions to mull over as we wrap up DCI week one:

DCI fans rejoice - competitive drum corps is back! It has felt like a lifetime since our favorite drum corps across the country have taken the field with the goal of winning a championship trophy at the end of the season, and I for one am eager to see what the 2022 season brings.
