There's a new DCI Open Class world champion. Blue Devils B edged out The Battalion to win their first Open Class World Championship since 2016.
Spartans, the 2025 winner, moved up to World Class, leaving the throne vacant. Blue Devils B's program "Mise en Plance" finished with a score of 81.725, beating out second place by 0.225 points to bring home gold.

The Battalion finished the Open Class Prelims with a lead entering August 4, but wasn't able to win their first Open Class World Championship.
