At the DCI Southwestern Championships at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, the Bluecoats came to win. But they fell just short, despite scoring 92.825, coming in just behind the Boston Crusaders, who set a DCI San Antonio Record with a score of 93.213.

The Bluecoats finished out the performance in front of a sold-out Alamodome, and earned a standing ovation from the crowd. A fan favorite corp, the Bluecoats put on a spectacular show, but couldn't top the record books.
