The Boston Crusaders of Boston, Massachusetts enter DCI San Antonio as the highest-ranked corps so far this season. The Crusaders were just over one point away from taking the World Championships title last year, but have an intriguing 2025 production that could take them to national glory.

Blue Devils Take The Field

Placing third in both the DCI World Championship Semifinals and Finals in 2024, the Blue Devils out of Concord, California are primed to compete among the best once again this time around. The Blue Devils hold the record for the most Drum Corps International World Championship titles. The corps has won a total of 21 times, most recently in 2023.

Phantom Regiment Takes The Field

The Phantom Regiment of Rockford, Illinois has been known for its powerful performances over the years. The 12-time medalist has won two DCI World Championship titles in 1996 and 2008.

Santa Clara Vanguard Take The Field

Santa Clara Vanguard from Santa Clara, California finished sixth in last season's World Championship Finals, and could very well rise to be within the top five if they continue to shine through the summer. One of the most successful corps in DCI history, the ensemble has won seven DCI World Championship titles between 1973 and 2018.

Carolina Crown Take The Field

Carolina Crown from Fort Mill, South Carolina kicks off the final six corps of DCI San Antonio. Carolina Crown has been a DCI finalist every year for more than two decades, earning its first World Championship title in DCI’s World Class division in 2013.

Mandarins Take The Field

The Mandarins from Sacramento, California have been a consistent top-five corps in recent showings. Their 2025 program hopes to build off the momentum they have been accumulating, especially with a World Championships Finals appearance last year.

The Cavaliers Take The Field

The Cavaliers from Rosemont, Illinois have been up and coming this summer and will surely make themselves known as a force not to be reckoned with at DCI San Antonio. An 11th place finish in last year's World Championship Finals seems to be behind them as the Cavaliers begin a new era under a fresh design team.

Blue Stars Take The Field

The Blue Stars out of La Crosse, Wisconsin, have been eager to find themselves on the World Championship podium since they joined the World Class division back in 2006. Their sporty, spunky 2025 campaign hopes to do just that.

Troopers Take The Field

It seems that the Troopers have a solid foundation in all musical areas heading into DCI San Antonio following their success this season so far. With their iconic Western theme, seeing as they are from Casper, Wyoming, and commitment to patriotic storytelling, the corps have quickly become a fan favorite.

Blue Knights Take The Field

The Blue Knights of Denver, Colorado enter the 2025 season chasing a World Championships Finals appearance after being cut from the lineup in 2024. Recognized for innovation in visual design and contemporary programming, the Blue Knights have been a DCI World Championship finalist more than 20 times.

Colts Take The Field

DCI San Antonio will serve as the first Texas Series show that the Colts will perform their 2025 program. The Colts from Dubuque, Iowa placed within the top 10 in the 2024 World Championship Finals and could very well have a statement season this year.

Madison Scouts Take The Field

Founded in 1920, the Madison Scouts out of Madison, Wisconsin is a premier youth performing arts organization on the modern drum and bugle corps scene. They are a founding member of Drum Corps International and have been twice crowned as World Champions, with the last time being in 1988. The Scouts hope to continue expanding their program to be on the podium once again.

Spirit Of Atlanta Take The Field

The Spirit of Atlanta from Atlanta, Georgia, are well known for a huge brass sound and performances that evoke the soulful and sultry persona of its southern hometown region. The group has claimed a spot in the DCI World Championship Finals 20 times since 1978.

The Academy Takes The Field

Celebrating 25 years in 2025, the Academy Brass and Percussion from Tempe, Arizona head into DCI San Antonio bold and confident. In the corps’ first trip to the DCI World Championships in 2006, it won the gold medal in Division II competition. 2016 marked the corps’ first year as a World Class DCI World Championship finalist.

Gold, based out of San Diego, is fully immersed in its 2025 campaign, titled "The Demon Barber of Fleet Street." The corps began the season with a win in the Open Class division at the DCI Capital Classic with a score of 63.00.
