Dozens of Guard, Percussion, and Winds ensembles competed this past weekend, March 8-9, as a lead-up to Power Regional Weekend season. With only a few weeks of the 2025 Winter Guard International season remaining, things are starting to head up as we get closer to World Championships in April.

Winter Guard, Percussion, and Winds fans can watch select shows LIVE, exclusively on FloMarching, throughout the season all leading up to the 2025 WGI Color Guard World Championships on April 3-5 and the 2025 Percussion/Winds World Championships on April 10-13.

It's All UP From Here | WGI Dartmouth Percussion/Winds Regional
Percussion and Winds fans turned their attention to Dartmouth, Massachusetts this weekend for a slate of exciting performances from ensembles across the East Coast, many of which made their streaming debut this weekend, including United Percussion (PIW), Dartmouth HS (PSW), and United Percussion 2 (PIO). Scores across the board were stellar, with almost every ensemble in Finals crossing the 80-point threshold, and a few getting close to entering the 90s Club for 2025.
Looking at Winds, Vortex Indoor Winds finished strong after two performances to secure a win in Independent A Winds over Biddeford Blizzard Winds.

West Coast Magic | WGI Manhattan Beach Guard Regional
Many of the best color guard ensembles on the West Coast headed to Manhattan Beach for an absolutely stacked two-day competition full of sizzling competition and excitement from performers and fans alike, as seen perfectly by the level of raucous cheering after every solo and throughout mind-bending ensemble moments.
Fantasia (IW) and Arcadia HS (SW) took home first place in their respective classes, earning them some bragging rights heading into the start of Power Regional season. Emerald (IO) separated itself from the pack significantly, earning itself a place atop the table, while Palm Desert Charter Middle School squeaked out a victory in the hotly contested Scholastic Open class. Elan Winterguard overpowered the competition in Independent A, and Foothill HS (NV) ended up being the top dog out of four rounds of Scholastic A Prelims and a Finals group of 17 competitors.
