Pulse Percussion heads to WGI World Championships this week seeking championships in the Percussion Independent World competition in Dayton. 

The team from California is one of the favorites at the 2024 WGI Percussion World Championships this week after winning the PIW Finals in 2023 with a score of 98.513.

Last year, Pulse, from Westminster, Calif., won the finals, finished first in the semifinals and won their preliminary round. 

Here's when Pulse competes in Round 1 on April 18. 

Pulse Percussion Schedule At WGI Percussion 2024

Pulse Percussion is scheduled to compete at 9:27 a.m. in PIW-Round 2 At University of Dayton Arena. 

The semifinals final of the PIW is schedule to begin at 9 a.m.on April 19 at UD Arena while the finals will start at the same time at UD Arena on April 20.

The WGI Percussion and Winds World Championships are April 18-21.

WGI Percussion/Winds competitions will bein the Dayton, Ohio and surrounding areas, including: 

• University of Dayton
• Dayton Convention Center
• Hobart Arena in Troy, Ohio
• Wright State University’s Nutter Center In Fairborn, Ohio
