The second week of the WGI World Championships 2024 competition begins on April 18 when the WGI Percussion World Championships take over Dayton, Ohio and surrounding areas. 

The area hosted the WGI Guard World Championships last week as thousands of athletes and hundreds of teams competed for world championships. This week is more of the same as the Percussion and Winds features more than a hundred scholastic teams and about a hundred independent teams from around the country.

Competitions will take place at University of Dayton Arena, Wright University's Nutter Center, Truist Arena at Northern Kentucky University and Hobart Arena in Troy, Ohio.
