Aside from the on-field fireworks at Super Bowl LI, Lady Gaga's halftime show is perhaps the most highly anticipated performance ahead of Sunday's game at NRG Stadium in Houston. 

While the halftime show, which Lady Gaga has hinted may feature time-defying 90-year-old Tony Bennett, promises to be an amazing spectacle, we couldn't help but to wonder how a DCI performance would fare on the world's biggest stage. Now, keep in mind, these shows would need to be very entertaining and easy for non-marching folks to follow. Sorry Star '93 but that doesn't quiet fit our model. 

Here's a look at seven DCI shows we think could hold their own against Lady Gaga this Sunday.

Bluecoats 2016

This production shows the true athleticism and skill it takes to march in today's world class drum corps. It would be amazing to have a captive audience like the Super Bowl to showcase the current abilities of the marching arts.

Velvet Knights 1992

There is a special place in our hearts for this show because of the shark eating the fat lady at the end of this show. You'll have to get the DVD from DCI to see that, but some things are just worth the money.

Carolina Crown 2016

Crown are the ambassadors for pure power and for playing on emotions. Relentless did just that all summer long.

Madison Scouts 1997

The Scouts are known for their ability to entertain the crowd like no other. Seeing them battle it out on the field at the Super Bowl would be amazing.

Santa Clara Vanguard 1989

SCV would dazzle us with probably the most famous opera of all time. Throw in a magic trick ending and you've got a great halftime show.

Phantom Regiment 2008

There is nothing like the ending of Spartacus to bring out the aggression in the football fan. If this doesn't make you want to run through a wall nothing will.

The Cadets 2000

The Super Bowl is a place where amazing plays are immortalized every year. The Cadets' tenor break and horn features in this 2000 performance are remembered in DCI history just the same.
