Meridian Winter Guard - En Garde!
Meridian Winter Guard is from Nicholasville, Kentucky. The members in this guard range from 6th grade up to 11th grade. They compete in their home circuit of Tristate where they have been silver medalists in 2022 and 2023. Their most recent win includes being named the RA class champion at the WGI Knoxville Regional.
Belleville East HS- Dystopia
Our show is entitled "Dystopia". The idea behind the show comes from the movie "Mad Max" and the show takes place in a futuristic society that is destitute and depressed. The guard has unique costuming for each individual that comes from the unique punk/gothic feel of the movie as well as having gas masks. The show starts with the "clan" coming out of a run down building that they were foraging. Through out the show, there is an air raid siren that sounds to foreshadow the conclusion where there is a toxic dust the comes and whips out part of their "clan".
