Belton, Texas- USA. Performing their program "The Last Day" Set in Pompeii 79 A.D. the performers tell a story of going through a normal day when all of the sudden the beautiful volcano Vesuvius erupts and blankets the town with ash and lava turning the people into stone statues. There is one person that escapes the chaos and returns to the city later to find that Pompeii will never be the same. Belton Guard is thrilled to be performing again this season and very thankful to be given this opportunity. The students have worked extremely hard and are excited to perform for an audience once more. These students have endured a lot of change this school year and have overcome all obstacles that has been thrown at them. We hope that you all enjoy and good luck to everyone this season!
