This weekend, a whole host of top percussion and winds groups converged on Kettering Fairmont High School in Dayton, Ohio, for the WGI Dayton Regional, one of the early marquee events of the 2019 season. The competition featured former champions and returning finalists from multiple classes, and plenty of intriguing storylines.

The very first weekend of WGI Percussion/Winds competition is finally coming to FloMarching this Saturday, February 16! Also, in Indianapolis, we will see one of the strongest schedules of the season at a show that's not a Power Regional. 

Just seven weeks before WGI World Championships return to the University of Dayton Arena in Dayton, Ohio, 27 percussion ensembles and a trio of winds ensembles will take the all-too-familiar stage for an early-season, two-day regional, Saturday, Feb. 16 and Sunday, Feb. 17.

Making their 2019 debut on FloMarching in weekend #2 of the Winter Guard International season—percussion and winds! The divisions will join guard in competition over the two-day regional in Dayton, OH. Meanwhile, some of the best color guards that the United States has to offer will be competing in Indianapolis at Warren Central and Greenfield Central High Schools.

The 2019 Winter Guard International (WGI) season is upon us. The best indoor percussion groups, winter guards, and indoor winds groups have spent the last 3-4 months going through auditions, call-backs, practices, and multi-day camps with one thing in mind: WGI World Championships—or their local circuits if they're not making the trip to Dayton.
