DCI Update: Crossmen Brings Back Their Cymbal Line For 2023
The Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps recently announced that they're bringing back their cymbal line for the 2023 DCI season
Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps announced today on social media that the corps will be bringing back their cymbal line for the 2023 season. The last time the San Antonio-based corps fielded a cymbal line was in the 2018 season.
Lee Beddis, the Crossmen Battery Arranger, shared his thoughts about adding the cymbal line back into the mix in 2023 saying, "This change feels right – the Crossmen has a rich history of this section and it makes total sense... It has been my experience in the past that the cymbal line always presented some of the best members of the drum corps. Their work ethic, compassion, and overall attitudes would be welcome in the Crossmen moving forward."
While no staff announcement for the cymbal line has been released, Lee says that he's excited to be announcing the staff soon! Keep an eye on the Crossmen website and social channels for any upcoming staff and show announcements for the 2023 season.
