(GAME)DAY IN THE LIFE is a brand new series on FloMarching that gives viewers a look at what it's like to march in some of the biggest college programs in the U.S. New episodes are going to be dropped two times a month and will feature different college marching band programs around the nation.

Why I joined Pitt Band: I actually started college at Point Park University in downtown Pittsburgh, which does not have a band. The summer before my freshman year I searched "colleges with marching bands in Pittsburgh" as a long shot just to see if I could still march in college. Thankfully, Dr. Townsend offered me the chance to audition and I made it in. I spent my freshman year in Pitt Band cross-registered with Point Park and Pitt before ultimately deciding to transfer to Pitt.
