Another day, another 2022 show announcement! The Cavaliers announced their DCI 2022 production titled 'Signs of the Times after Memorial Day weekend,' also revealing their show graphic and repertoire.

The Rosemont-based corps released their show graphic, title, and a repertoire of what they will be playing this summer. The music, in particular, drew a lot of chatter online with its broad range of genres and composers/artists. The repertoire includes:

  • Fugue in G Minor BWV 578 by Johann Sebastian Bach
  • Fly Like An Eagle by Steve Miller Band
  • Way Too Long by Bent Knee
  • Tarkus by Emerson, Lake, and Palmer
  • The Floor Is Lava by Bent Knee
  • Concerto No. 10 for Brass Band by Ludovic Neurohr
  • Queer Gods by Bent Knee
  • Being Human by Bent Knee
  • Sign of the Times by Harry Styles

The 2022 production is described as a program that will "...take you on a journey from the early days of the printing press to the modern age of social media, all the while showing how time is endless and repeats itself in mystifying ways."

Following the announcement of this year's show, Cavaliers fans took to social media to make their excitement about the repertoire known.

I've got to say that out of all of the repertoire announcements so far this season, I'm most interested to hear how the Green Machine puts all of these songs together to create a cohesive show. Luckily, The Cavaliers have their season debut less than a month away on June 28th at the DCI Tour Premiere! Stream this event, and many others, LIVE on FloMarching all season long.
