Prelims

To participate in the UDB DCI Tour Fee Giveaway, a marcher must submit an application and post the prelims graphic on their social media by July 22 at 11:59pm CST.

1. Application

Each participant will submit an application that confirms their eligibility and gives them a chance to introduce themselves, share their story, and express their desire to march drum corps for free in 2022!

2. Post to Social Media

After submitting the application, the applicant will post the “I entered prelims!” graphic to their social media channels.

Each applicant must:

• Post the provided graphic to at least one of your social media channels (the more channels you post to, the better your chance is of advancing).
• Tag @ultimatedrillbook, @flomarching, and use #UDBTourFeeGiveaway

Semifinals

Semifinalists create a 1-minute video to introduce themselves, share their passion for drum corps, and explain what winning the UDB Tour Fee Giveaway would mean to them. The more creative the better! Videos are required to be posted by July 26 at 11:59 pm CT.

3. Video Introduction

Each semifinalist creates and uploads a video that gives insight into their personality, passions, and goals.

Each video must tag @ultimatedrillbook, @flomarching, and use #UDBTourFeeGiveaway

4. Share!

Post videos by July 26 at 11:59pm CST. The more interaction a video has, the better chance that participant has to be a finalist!

Finals

The finalists will watch shows, see rehearsals, experience the warm-up lots, and ultimately compete to win the UDB DCI Tour Fee Giveaway.

The final round is a live competition that tests the finalist’s skills in all things marching band. The participants will do things like march drill with a brass instrument, spin a rifle, change a drum head, grab their dot book, take off their marching shoes, and try to cross the finish line first!

The final live round takes place on the field during the intermission at DCI Semifinals!

PRIZES

1st Place - Champion 

Tour fees paid directly to a DCI corps that they are contracted to march in 2022.

2nd Place - Runner-Up

$500 towards tour fees paid directly to a DCI corps that they are contracted to march in 2022.

Finalists

Two video audition reviews with UDB Education Team members.
