Today, February 8, Music City Drum and Bugle Corps made the announcement that Joe Roach, a long-time administrative staff member of The Cavaliers, will now take over as the new corps director.

Most recently, Roach acted as Director of Programs for The Cavaliers' organization which included their Winter Guard International entities and GearWorks, The Cavaliers' self-branded training experience, and more.

As Music City continues to make a name for themselves in World Class, it makes sense to pick up a World Class talent like Roach that knows the ins and outs of the highest level of the activity.

Music City's Board of Directors President Tracy Rode elaborated upon this in their official release:

"It is clear Joe places a priority on the health, wellness, and educational experience of students... His commitment to integrity and excellence on and off the field make him a perfect fit for our organization."

Per Music City's website, Roach will assume complete responsibility for his role at the upcoming February training camp on the 15th, during which the corps will be further finalizing the 2019 cast.
