Kristy Jackson first joined the Troopers organization in 2011 as a volunteer in the corps' bingo hall. Shortly after, she was brought on to the administrative team in 2012.

She then moved into the Assistant Director role for the 2018 season. Jackson's bio on the Troopers website describes, "[Kristy] spent a considerable amount of time leading the drum corps through the 2018 season."

Kristy will take over the role from long-time Troopers director Fred Morris. Morris will remain as a Senior Executive Advisor as they go through this transition.

Also in new positions for the 2019 season are Robert Blake and Anthony Cruddas. Blake will be leading the visual caption, "drawing from his experience not only as a former member of the 'long blue line' but from his time at the Santa Clara Vanguard."

Cruddas, also in the brass caption head position, will supplement his workload with the role of Educational Director, "overseeing the quality standards of the overall educational experience for the members."
