We are going to be LIVE at the FloSports HQ in Austin, TX getting ready to watch episode 2 of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's production the "Clash of the Corps" at 11pm/10c on Fuse TV. We will have 2 drum corps age-outs (Cadets and Pioneer 2003) here to give insider reactions to the show. We are also going to have some reactions from other staff members who are not from the marching arts community. We will get the blog fired up at 9:30PM!
(All time for the updates are CST)
9:50PM - T-minus 10 minutes til launch of episode 2 of Clash of the Corps
10:00PM - Here we go
10:08PM - The evolution of cell phones since we marched is an incredible tool to allow the performers to remain in contact with home during tour.
10:12PM - Interesting to see the progression of when kids are considered members of the corps. Many stories from pre-2005 of corps that didn't consider students members until they had completed finals.
10:18PM - Great to show the athletic trainers and how well the corps take care of these athletes.
10:24PM - Putting on the uniform for the first time...something very mystical about it.
10:29PM - Ummm.....that was short.
