Every season, hundreds of the top bands across the United States compete in Bands of America Regionals and Super Regionals—the most elite high school band competitions in the world bring a new production to the field each season to show off their incredible skill and teamwork.
The season starts with debut performances in mid-September and closes out with the Grand National Championships, a three day celebration of marching band talent and artistry at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
With nearly 30 regionals on the calendar, the 2026 BOA season is scheduled to reach all corners of the country.

The season starts with four weekends of one-day regionals, then, the Indianapolis Super Regional will shift things into high gear and kick off the final stretch of the season as groups perfect their productions.
St. Louis and San Antonio also serve as critical Super Regional stops along the way, featuring many of the best bands that the Midwest and Southwest have to offer over two full days of competition.
