Just weeks ahead of the start of the 2026 fall marching band season, the Claudia Taylor Johnson HS marching band endured a disastrous accident involving their equipment trailer.

Last Friday, August 28th, storms ripped across the San Antonio area, resulting in downed power lines, flooding, wind damage, and more. The Claudia Taylor Johnson HS marching band was caught in the middle of the storm at a Friday Night football game at Heroes Stadium.

In spite of the massive damage done by the storm to their trailer and equipment, thankfully no members of the band or staff were seriously injured in the storm.
