The DCI World Championship is headed back to Northeast Ohio.
On the same weekend Canton, Ohio was overtaken by football legends, the Bluecoats had a Hall of Fame-worthy performance in Indianapolis, capping off the summer with a 99.1 score on the final day of the DCI Summer Tour.
The score is one of the highest in DCI history and the 2026 Bluecoats show “Gravity & Grace” joins the 2014 Blue Devils, 2005 Cadets, 2002 Cavaliers and 2009 Blue Devils with 99 scores.

Entering the week with the highest score of the season, the Bluecoats didn’t disappoint at Lucas Oil Stadium, scoring the highest score in the Prelims, Semifinals and Finals. Weeks after setting the tone at the DCI Southwestern Championship, the Bluecoats kept the tradition of carrying Texas Tour momentum to Indianapolis.
But top corps such as Carolina Crown and Blue Devils and more didn’t make it easy. All three corps brought out their best over three days as the field was whittled down to 12 ahead of Saturday’s DCI Finals.
This is the second DCI World Championship in three years for the Bluecoats and their third since 2016.
