Founded in 1988, Les Stentors adopted its current name in 1993 before making its first appearance at the DCI World Championships in 1999. The corps later earned recognition as DCI's Most Improved Open Class Corps in 2010.

The 2025 DCI Open Class World Championship was held in Marion, Indiana, before the event moved to Dayton, Ohio, for 2026.
