It’s the biggest week in Marching Summer, and it begins on Monday, August 3, with the DCI World Championship Prelims. All Open Class drum corps will compete at Welcome Stadium in Dayton, Ohio, which determines the advancement of Open Class corps.

2025 DCI Open Class World Championship Results
The 2025 DCI Open Class World Championship was held in Marion, Indiana, before the event moved to Dayton, Ohio, for 2026.
Spartans claimed the 2025 Open Class championship after earning an 82.150 in the finals. Gold finished second with an 80.875, while The Battalion rounded out the top three with a 79.750.
