The DCI Southwestern Championship is without a doubt one of the most exciting days of the summer for fans of the marching arts and we now have the full schedule for over nine hours of intense drum corps.
DCI released the official schedule for the event, which will begin at 2:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, July 18 at the Alamodome and wrap up with scores announced around 11:11 p.m. ET.

The 2026 DCI Southwestern Championship performance order has been set as corps make their way to the Alamodome in San Antonio, TX on July 18. Here's the breakdown.
2026 DCI Southwestern Championship Schedule Announced, See The Full Lineup
The day kicks off with four groups from Tornado Alley with Texas, Kansas, and Oklahoma all represented. Gold will wrap up the Open Class performances before Seattle Cascades take the field to initiate World Class competition.
Before the first intermission, fans will watch many corps that made it into the 2025 DCI World Championship semifinals like Spartans, a new World Class corps. Crossmen are a must-watch as well as the hometown corps—the crowd always gives it up and "Bones" will no doubt make an appearance as well.
After a quick intermission, the momentum will pick up quickly. Corps that will eventually be battling it out in Indianapolis to make the top twelve spots and one last performance at DCI Finals take the field starting with Spirit of Atlanta at 5:48 p.m. ET. Pacific Crest, The Academy, Troopers, Blue Knights, and Madison Scouts all make up the rest of that block—including three more corps that were out of finals last year and are looking to make a move.
At 7:30 p.m. ET, an hour-long dinner intermission will give fans a chance to take a break and return with renewed energy as the top nine corps pick things back up with the Blue Stars.
The next three hours will be over in a flash as the top corps in DCI compete for the first time in one location. Here's the full schedule.

How Is The DCI Southwestern Championship Performance Order Determined?
The schedule was built by a process defined by Drum Corps International policy approved through a vote by the voting membership.
The policy dictates that only the scores from the "designated weekend" before San Antonio are considered, and then corps are grouped into threes based on score order. The time slots are then drawn randomly from 1-3 to decide when each corps performs within their grouping.
In situations like DCI Little Rock's weather cancellation, when corps do not receive a score during the weekend, their most recent score is considered.

The Southwestern Championship is just one of the many stops along the DCI Summer Tour worth tuning into this season. As the corps build up to Saturday in the Alamodome, they'll be competing head to head across Oklahoma and Texas and it's streaming live on FloMarching.
