The Troopers Legacy Corps (TLC) is proud to announce its plans for the 2026 season, building on the success and momentum from its 2025 year. This past August, TLC traveled to Indianapolis, Indiana, where members came together from across the US and Canada to perform in the DCI SoundSport International Music & Food Festival. Their powerful "HONOR" program, celebrating the life and legacy of longtime Troopers leader Fred Morris, earned the ensemble a Gold rating and widespread acclaim.
In 2026, the Troopers Legacy Corps will continue its mission of preserving and celebrating the history, spirit, and traditions of the Troopers Drum & Bugle Corps with a new production titled "LOYALTY." This program will honor the life and contributions of Pat Chagnon, founding Director of the Troopers Legacy Corps, whose leadership, dedication, and service profoundly influenced both the Troopers "A" Corps and the Legacy Corps.
The 2026 season marks another important step toward the Troopers' 70th Anniversary in 2028, as TLC continues to highlight the values of Honor, Loyalty, and Dedication, core principles embodied by the individuals who helped shape the organization through the decades. In true Troopers spirit, the Legacy Corps will return to the place where the Corps' story began. For 2026, TLC is heading West.
"As you can imagine, a week like this takes extensive planning," said Co-Directors Dana DeCosta and Dale Hillegass. "We are working closely with the Troopers organizational management team and the TLC leadership team to coordinate hotels, buses, meals, instructional staff, fundraising, and all the logistical elements needed to create another unforgettable experience."
Member registration is expected to open mid-December, once additional details are finalized. To help the alumni and members plan ahead, TLC is pleased to announce the official program window: Save the Dates: June 21-28, 2026
Location details in Colorado and Wyoming will be announced soon.
