Corps are making their final adjustments and perfecting their sound before the quickly incoming DCI World Championships, and the Innovations in Brass served as a checkpoint for performers ahead of the highly-anticipated week of marching.

Canton, Ohio, home of the Bluecoats, hosted 12 corps from both Open and World Class divisions on Monday for Innovations in Brass, including the top-ranked Boston Crusaders and Bluecoats themselves. 

The local Bluecoats took home first place with a score of 97.075 with their production "The Observer Effect."
