Just days before the 2025 DCI summer tour kicked off, Drum Corps International announced the return of the "Big, Loud & Live" movie theater broadcast of the 2025 DCI World Championship prelims on Thursday, August 7.

More than 25 DCI events are streaming live on FloMarching this season from the debuts of the Bluecoats and Santa Clara Vanguard's 2025 shows to the finale in Lucas Oil Stadium later this summer.

The theater broadcasts were a staple for most drum corps fans and after 18 seasons, it was suspended due to "diminishing movie theater attendance." DCI's CEO Nate Boudreaux commented that he's "confident our fans will turn out in big numbers" and that the corps were huge proponents of its return. Read the full release on DCI.org.

When Is DCI Big Loud & Live 2025

Big, Loud & Live is scheduled for Thursday, August 7 and will include a five-hour broadcast of the top 15 drum and bugle corps with live commentary, interviews, and real-time scores.

Will FloMarching Still Stream Prelims On Thursday, August 7?

Yes, FloMarching will still stream all performances on Thursday, August 7, plus a rebroadcast of the day on Friday. The entirety of the DCI Open Class, All-Age, and World Championships will be streamed live and rebroadcasted 24 hours later.

Select performances are available for viewing on-demand due to music licensing limitations.
