Thanks to the generosity of donors toward the Seattle Cascades' 'Shine-A-Light' Scholarship campaign, the Washington-based ensemble has revealed a portion of its repertoire for fans! Here's what has been announced so far:

On December 13th, the Seattle Cascades became the next World Class Drum Corps Internation ensemble to give fans some insight into its 2024 production. The Seattle-based corps announced 'Sky Above' as the title of its show, in addition to a show graphic to accompany the post.

While Cascades didn't release any additional information about repertoire or what the show will be about, the lighthouse and night sky motif that make up the show graphic may help fans infer a bit about what the show could be about. Instagram commenters threw out the idea of space shows, repertoire guesses like 'Fly Me To The Moon' and 'Above Us Only Sky,' and much more.

Interested in finding out more about the Seattle Cascades 2024 program? The corps is currently running a fundraising opportunity called the "Shine-a-Light Scholarship," where donations "... will directly cover 2024 member tuitions for students looking to the sky with their dream of marching drum corps." According to the corps, for every $1,000 donated, the corps will release repertoire information for 'Sky Above.' 

With the cost of marching drum corps seemingly increasing with no stopping in sight, this is a wonderful opportunity to support members of the Seattle Cascades while also getting fans interested in the ensembles' 2024 production! Seattle Cascades makes its 2024 DCI debut on July 5th at Northwest Youth Music Games Portland, inking up with Blue Knights, Troopers, Columbians, and more. Fans can see the Cascades at many exciting shows throughout the summer, including Corps Encore on July 10, DCI Southwestern Championship on July 20, DCI Eastern Classic on August 3 (Saturday), and DCI World Championships on August 8-11.
