Edison High School Indoor Percussion - The Storm

Join the Edison High School Percussion Ensemble as they take you through the experience of a devastating hurricane. The first movement entitled "The Storm" begins with a sunny day and nature is calm. As it progresses, signs of the storm grow nearer and nearer as it begins to rain.

In movement two entitled "The Eye" the rain eerily stops and it seems to be a sunny day again; the eye of the storm is passing over. The music climaxes as the storm is quickly moving overhead looking worse and worse.

The final movement is entitled "The Return". The music is a dance between the storm and the population that remains. A tsunami approaches ominously as sudden tempo changes reflect a shift into chaos.
