Alpharetta HS Varsity Winter Guard 2021

The Alpharetta HS Varsity winter guard from Alpharetta, Georgia, is a 2019 WGI Scholastic A World Championships finalist and a 2018 Semifinalist. The ensemble has won WGI regionals and has been a medalist in the SAPA circuit numerous times. Students in the Alpharetta High School Color Guard program have the option to participate in the marching band color guard, JV or Varsity winter guard, and the color guard class. This year's production is the touching story of the Tinman's "Forgotten Heart." The modern set design emphasizes tin and the final flag tastefully incorporates the famous rainbow icon from the beloved movie. The eleven dancers are also featured on saber, rifle, and flag.
