Meet Amanda Montemayor, the percussion director at Dakota Ridge High School in Colorado. She was nominated for the 2017 Hometown Hero Award presented by Quicken Loans by her students for not only growing the program in terms of numbers, talent, and standards but also more importantly because of her infectious passion, drive, and selflessness.
