901 Performance Ensemble from Missouri State University is one of three winter guards at Missouri State. Founded in 2002, 901 Performance Ensemble is part of the Missouri State Winter Guards along with The Pride of Missouri State and National Avenue from Missouri State University. During the fall season, all three guards join to form the 70-member PRIDE Color Guard, which performs as visual section of the 300-piece Missouri State PRIDE Marching Band. They perform at all the home football games, host an annual marching festival called Ozarko, and performs in exhibition in such events as Bands of America Regional and National Championships. They have appeared in the Tournament of Roses Parade, MACY'S Thanksgiving Day Parade, London New Year's Day Parade, Orange Bowl Parade, and the Chicago Thanksgiving Day Parade. Missouri State University, located in Springfield, Missouri, is the second largest university in Missouri with 25,000 students.
