The Hidden World - Providence Catholic High School (Vic Firth/Zildjian Challenge)

Providence Catholic Marching Celtics perform their 2020 show "The Hidden World" Recorded on 10-3-20 for the "Vic Firth/Zildjian Challenge". Mvt. 1: Bees (Shepherds Hey) Mvt. 2: Butterflies (Four Scottish Dances) Mvt. 3: Ants (When Johnny Comes Marching Home) Music Arrangement by Luke McMillan. Drill Design by Marvin Battle Special Thanks to John Pollard and Cam Stasa for show announcements! Very Special Thanks to our PCHS families for all your support during these times! *Note: Social Distancing Regulations were followed at all times during rehearsals and filming of this performance. Band members were all required to wear masks and drill was written with at least a 6 foot distance between students. Audience members were required to sit 6 feet apart from other families and wear a mask at all times on campus. Staff members wear masks at all times and stay socially distanced from students.

The 105-member Milton High School Red Hawk Marching Band is just one component of a comprehensive music program that includes 2 concert bands, pep band, jazz ensemble, pit orchestra, 2 show choir bands, instrumental chamber ensembles, 4 curricular choirs, 2 competitive show choirs, and 2 levels of music theory. The Band would like to thank the school board, administration, high school staff, and the Milton Band Boosters for their support of the band program. This is the band’s tenth year of competitive marching. Adam Wiencken | On The 50 with Dan Schack (Ep. 39)

Adam Wiencken is the Percussion Specialist for Broken Arrow Public Schools in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. As Director of Percussion and Battery Arranger for the Pride of Broken Arrow Marching Band, the ensemble is a frequent Bands of America (BOA) Regional Champion and Grand National Finalist. The Pride of Broken Arrow was the BOA Grand National Runner-Up in 2012, 2014, and 2017, and was the 2014 BOA Grand National Class AAAA Champion. In 2011 and 2015 The Pride of Broken Arrow was named the BOA Grand National Champion.
