The October competition season has gotten off to a hot start, and audiences can look forward to even more BOA excitement happening this weekend. Let's take a look at the show offerings this weekend and find out who's competing where.

2022 Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship

  • October 8 | Newark, DE
  • Start Time: 7:45am ET
  • Competing Programs: 
    • Trumbull High School
    • Green Hope High School
    • Kiski Area High School
    • and many more
  • Special exhibition performance from the University of Delaware Fightin' Blue Hens Marching Band

The 2022 Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship will take place on October 8th at Delaware Stadium in Newark, DE. A cast of almost thirty programs will take the field in competition, with the first group (Susquehannock High School) stepping off at 7:45am. Prelims competition will wrap up at 4:15pm and will be followed immediately by a special exhibition performance from the University of Delaware Fightin' Blue Hens Marching Band. The presentation of awards will begin at 4:30pm, when the programs advancing to Finals will be announced. The first Finalist group will step off at 7:00pm with the final ensemble ending their performance at 10:00pm. The presentation of Finals awards will begin at 10:15pm.

2022 Dallas/Fort Worth Regional Championship

  • Start Time: 8:15am CT

  • Special exhibition performance from the University of North Texas Green Brigade Marching Band

The 2022 Dallas/Forth Worth Regional Championship will take place on October 8th at Pennington Field in Bedford, TX. Twenty-four total bands will take the field in Prelims competition starting at 8:15am and ending at 4:00pm. Following the completion of the Prelims competition, there will be a special exhibition performance from the University of North Texas Green Brigade Marching Band. Finalist groups will be announced at the presentation of awards at 4:15pm, and Finals competition will start back up at 7:30pm. The last Finalist group will complete their performance at 10:30pm and the Finals awards ceremony is slated to begin at 10:45pm.

2022 West Texas Regional Championship

  • Special exhibition performance from West Texas A&M University's The Sound of West Texas Buffalo Marching Band

The 2022 West Texas Regional Championship will take place on October 8th at Astound Broadband Stadium in Midland, TX. Almost thirty bands will take the field in Prelims, with Odessa High School kicking things off bright and early at 7:30am. Prelims competition will then wrap up at 4:15pm and will be followed immediately by a special exhibition performance from the West Texas A&M University Buffalo Marching Band. The groups who advance to Finals will be announced at 4:30pm, and the competition will start back up at 7:30pm with the first Finalist ensemble. The final group will leave the field at 10:30pm, and Finals awards will begin at 10:45pm.
