BOA action heads to Kentucky, Arizona, and Texas this weekend to kick off October's BOA competition slate. Check out the information below to see who's competing, where the shows are taking place, and when the first groups step off.

2022 Louisville Regional Championship

The 2022 Louisville Regional Championship will take place on October 1st at Cardinal Stadium in Louisville, KY. A cast of thirty-one programs will take the field in competition, with the first group (Paul Laurence Dunbar High School) stepping off at 7:45am. Prelims competition will wrap up at 4:45 and will be followed immediately by a special exhibition performance from the University of Louisville Cardinal Marching Band. The presentation of awards will begin at 5:00pm, when the groups advancing to Finals competition will be announced. The first Finalist group will step off at 8:00pm with the final ensemble ending their performance at 11:00pm The presentation of awards will begin at 11:15pm.

2022 Arizona Regional Championship

• October 1st | Flagstaff, AZ
• Start Time: 10:15am MT

  • Mountain View High School
  • Fossil Ridge High School

The 2022 Arizona Regional Championship will take place on October 1st at J. Lawrence Walkup Skydome in Flagstaff, AZ. Seventeen total bands will take the field in Prelims competition starting at 10:15am and will end at 3:00pm. Following the completion of Prelims competition, there will be an exhibition performance from the Northern Arizona University Lumberjack Marching Band. Finalist groups will be announced at the presentation of awards at 3:15, and Finals competition will start back up at 6:00pm. The last Finalist group will complete their performance around 9:00pm and the Finals awards ceremony is slated to begin at 9:15pm.

2022 West Houston Regional Championship

The 2022 West Houston Regional Championship will take place on October 1st at Legacy Stadium in Katy, TX. A powerhouse showing of thirty-one Texas bands will converge in Katy and go toe-to-toe for bragging rights. Prelims competition will begin at 7:30am with Tomball Memorial High School and will continue on until 4:45pm when Prelims is slated to close. Following the last Prelims run, there will be a special exhibition performance from the University of Houston Spirit of Houston Marching Band followed by the presentation of awards where the Finalist competitors will be announced. Finals will begin at 7:30pm and will conclude around 10:30pm and will be followed by the Finals awards slated to begin around 10:45pm.
