Here's everything you need to know to enjoy this Saturday's DCI Southwestern Championship in the Alamodome in San Antonio, TX. The schedule is packed with all 22 World Class corps, giving fans and viewers their best chance at seeing the DCI World Championship finals line-up.

Two SoundSport groups from the southwest (Compass and Arsenal) will start out the day, followed by Guardians in Open Class—tune in right at 1:30 PM CT to catch these incredible groups!

Focal Points & Questions

On The Bubble

  • The Academy, Spirit of Atlanta and Colts are the corps to watch "on the bubble" of the top 12.
  • Spirit of Atlanta currently holds the highest score (as of July 18) of the three, earning a 77.15 on July 14.
  • In their last head-to-head, Colts came out on top of The Academy by 0.85 in Dekalb, IL on July 13.

Bottom 6 Finalists

  • As of July 18, Phantom Regiment is the only corps to not score 80 of the 2018 DCI finalists.
  • Mandarins beat Crossmen in their second head-to-head contest in El Dorado, KS on July 15, making them 1-1.
  • Blue Knights topped The Cadets (spread of 0.35) for the first time EVER in El Dorado, KS on July 15.
  • In Broken Arrow, OK on July 16 Blue Stars were just 0.40 behind The Cadets.

Top 6 Finalists

  • The top 3 were separated by the next 3 by a margin of 1.20 in Broken Arrow. 
  • The top three are Bluecoats, Blue Devils, and Santa Clara Vanguard. 
  • The next three are Carolina Crown, Boston Crusaders, and The Cavaliers.
  • Bluecoats are 17-0 for shows this summer.
  • Blue Devils have now captured 3 head-to-head victories against SCV, but the margin remains thin, about seven-tenths.
