Preview: Celebration In Brass

It's tough to get through a whole week without drum corps, isn't it? Fortunately, FloMarching has you covered as we'll be live streaming the Celebration in Brass competition in Ankeny, Iowa, this Wednesday evening starting at 7 PM Central! Here's some of what to expect on Wednesday:

Schedule | 2018 Archives | FloMarching Block Party

  1. Mandarins/Blue Stars
It's the first time this season that the Mandarins and the Blue Stars face off in direct competition, just one night after Mandarins meet up with Crossmen and the Cadets. This will give us a better idea of where the Mandarins sit competitively.
  2. SCV/Bluecoats
Bluecoats took all three nights of this past weekend against the Vanguard and will face off again in Ankeny. Both corps have a rehearsal day on Monday, but SCV has TWO days to get better before they see Bloo again.
  3. Academy/Colts
These two corps are currently dark horses for making it into Finals, looking up at both Spirit of Atlanta and Phantom Regiment. This is a very positive statement about the strength of World Class in the 10-14 slots. There's still plenty of time to make a move for both of these corps.
