Genesis Drum and Bugle Corps, a relatively young but feisty corps from Austin, Texas, is reaching even higher in 2018 with the announcement of its program "Retrovertigo."

The corps moved into World Class last year, after being in Open Class since 2010—its first competitive season. After a couple of successful seasons in Open Class, the organization and Drum Corps International decided to move forward with a class promotion to see where it would fall in the activity's best ensembles. The group earned its previous placement of 23rd overall at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis in semifinals competition. 

From the show graphics and music selections, it seems that Genesis will be bringing a show laden with self-conflict, a dream state, and a touch of surrealism to the field. Check out the post made on the group's Facebook page on Sunday.

Their show will consist of five parts, with music selections from the following artists:
