Blue Stars Officially Announce Show Music
The Blue Stars have finally joined the list of corps that have announced their full show repertoire for the 2017 season! Their show, "Star Crossed," is appropriately saturated with music that tells a story of love. However, I am sure they have a twist in store for the audience this season.

The corps will be playing the songs "Nature Boy," "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend," and "Lady Marmalade" from the popular movie-musical "Moulin Rouge." They have also pulled "I'm Kissing You" and "#1 Crush" from the 1996 film, "Romeo + Juliet." Both films, interestingly enough, are directed by Baz Luhrmann. The Australian filmmaker applies a unique aesthetic to these films by pairing over-the-top costume and set design with tragic love stories.

You can listen to the Blue Stars' source music on our up-to-date DCI 2017 World Class Source Music Spotify playlist. The Blue Stars will also be performing their 2017 production "Star Crossed," in addition to the Cavaliers, in our FREE event 2017 DCI Spring Training Finale on next Tuesday, June 20.
