DCI West 2026 and River City Rhapsody headline this second weekend of the 2026 DCI Season as more than a dozen corps make their competitive debuts on FloMarching on Sunday, July 5.
River City Rhapsody opens the night in La Crosse, WI at 8:00 p.m. ET with Blue Saints, Sound of Sun Prairie, Govenaires, and River City Rhythm before quickly escalating into DCI's World Class.
Madison Scouts, The Cavaliers, and Blue Stars will each perform their 2026 productions for the first time on FloMarching with close competition amongst 2025 finalists Colts, Troopers, and Phantom Regiment.
In Stanford, CA at DCI West, it's a similar story. Action kicks off at 8:25 p.m. ET with local and Open Class groups. By the time the sun is down and the bright Stanford Stadium lights have flipped on, we'll be watching some of the best corps in the country showing off their latest work.
Amongst the debutants in northern California are Open Class staples Golden Empire, Gold, Impulse, Blue Devils "C" and Blue Devils "B."
World Class first-timers on FloMarching this season include Seattle Cascades and The Academy.
Finally, before the night comes to a close, we revisit the top of the order from the 2025 DCI World Championship Finals (minus our reigning champion) with Bluecoats, Santa Clara Vanguard and Blue Devils finishing the weekend out.
The @Bluecoats are in California for the first time since 2009. Sunday, they will see SCV, the BD and many more at DCI West.

It's the Bluecoats first time in California since 2009 and they will be looking for a chance to get that all-valuable early season feedback from judges that are looking at a similar level of competition back-to-back.
