Thousands of hours of dedication, rehearsal, and technical precision will come to fruition over three days of competition in Dayton, Ohio as the 2026 Winter Guard International culminates in the ultimate celebration: The WGI World Championships.
Every year, North America's top scholastic and independent winter guards, indoor percussion ensembles, and indoor winds ensembles compete for a chance to make it to the pinnacle of their artistic sport: WGI finals at the University of Dayton Arena.
To the random onlooker, what may seem like the upgraded home court to a local university's basketball team will quickly become the mecca of performing arts.
This year, ensembles like Mayflower and Northern Academy from England as well as Sensation and Connected from Netherlands will put the "I" in Winter Guard International.
