Each WGI season, as the calendar flips to March, less than a month remains until the upcoming WGI World Championships in Dayton, Ohio. Most winter guards, percussion, and winds ensembles have their full productions on the floor at this point—now it's all about fine-tuning and highlighting the performers' excellence.

In the middle of the month, WGI regionals transition to Power Regionals. That typically means three things: bigger venues, bigger crowds, and a higher level of competition as more groups take longer trips to see how they fare compared to the best in their region.
