The BIG EAST Outdoor Track and Field Championships are here. This highly anticipated event brings together top athletes from universities across the east coast and beyond to compete in various track and field events at Jumbo Elliott Track at Villanova Stadium.

The stakes are high, with athletes vying to be conference champions and a chance to qualify for the NCAA track and field national championships.

Athletes to watch include Georgetown's Joshua Paige, who runs both the 100m and 200m. At the Penn Relays, Paige ran 10.39 in the 100m - the best time for any BIG EAST men's 100m athlete this season. 

Melissa Riggins, also of Georgetown, has the third-best 1500m time in the nation this season. Riggins ran a 4:07.96 at the 2024 Bryan Clay Invitational.
